THE SOLUTIONS

What to do?

Yay! I'm really excited that you want to help, out the more people the better the results. As you probably know, we can't cure the earth of its problems. But we can definitely try, for sure.
Below is a pretty long list of things we can do to change things for the better. =]

Happiest List in the World:

Lol, you probably hear this all the time but it doesn't hurt to hear it again :p :
Reuse
Reduce
Recycle

Did you know...
- For every ton of paper that is recycled, the following is saved: 7,000 gallons of water; 380 gallons of oil; and enough electricity to power an average house for six months.
- You can run a TV for six hours on the amount of electricity that is saved by recycling one aluminum can.
- By recycling just one glass bottle, you save enough electricity to power a 100-watt bulb for four hours.
Pretty crazy huh? I hope you now understand why and what the impacts of the three RRR's are. SO...if you aren't practicing them...DO IT...if you are God bless you and please do continue. =]

Donate
Yup, look through your pantry and donate all the canned goods that someone else might like. Like that can of peas, that your mom keeps trying to force on you ;p. Instead of throwing out all the clothes that don't fit you, donate them to the goodwill, or that organization that comes to your school every year collecting warm clothing for the poor. You'll feel good doing it, many will feel good recieving them, so it's a win win situation for all!

Preserve: Blah, blah, blah, turn off the water while you brush your teeth, turn off the lights in rooms that are not being used, use energy efficient light bulbs, take a Short shower instead of a bath, use both sides of paper, use cloth bags instead of plastic. You hear it all the time, but it really really is important!

Volunteer: Yea! It's awesome, fun, you helping out annndd you get community service for college! So volunteer, today, tomorrow, and the next day, and the next...
